Atrato Partners, part of the Atrato Group, served as the Investment Adviser to Atrato Onsite Energy Plc (“ROOF”), a closed-ended investment company established in 2021. ROOF was established to invest in a diversified portfolio of renewable energy assets, focusing primarily on commercial rooftop solar installations.

Atrato Partners, part of the Atrato Group, was appointed on IPO as the Investment Adviser to Atrato Onsite Energy Plc (“ROOF”), a closed-ended investment company established in 2021. ROOF was established to invest in a diversified portfolio of renewable energy assets, focusing primarily on commercial rooftop solar installations. ROOF became the largest owner of commercial rooftop solar assets in the UK, with a particular focus on behind-the-meter Solar PV systems and associated infrastructure.

On November 8 2024, ROOF’s entire portfolio of solar assets – valued at approximately £200m – was acquired by Phoenix UK Bidco Limited, a consortium owned jointly by Brookfield and RAIM Apollo. This transaction marked a significant milestone for Atrato Partners, highlighting its strategic role in advancing the UK’s commercial renewable energy sector.

From inception, Atrato Partners built the ROOF advisory team, helping ROOF achieve a strong market presence and negotiate groundbreaking PPAs with leading commercial and industrial clients (including a large framework agreement with Tesco Plc) and high-quality portfolio of sustainable energy assets.

Looking to the future, Atrato Partners remains committed to exploring new business opportunities and evaluating the potential for future sustainability-focused funds, continuing its mission to drive long-term value and positive environmental impact.
